Christmas Day 2007

Rorani Family Christmas message 2007

Our family love Christmas. We put up the tree altogether, eat Christmas treats that Mummy prepares, read the Christmas story and listen to Christmas carols. We always go to the Christmas lights at the temple here in Hamilton. That is where Blair and Lani met on Christmas eve, 2001.

We know that Jesus Christ who’s birth we celebrate, really was the Son of God. We know that if we have faith in Him and obey His commandments, we can be saved from sin and death and live together again in the life to come.

We hope all our family and friends have a wondering experience this Christmas, don’t eat too much, get lots of presents and take time to remember Jesus Christ’s birth, life and mission.

We love you all: Blair, Leilani, Joseph, Pearl and Jasmine Rorani.

Marsh Family Christmas

Dinner is servedAs usual all the Marsh sisters got together with the rest of their extended families (husbands, kids, grand kids) for an early Christmas dinner.

Every one arrive at the Jackson’s newly renovated house with their plates of food. We ate and the kids played outside and we saw all the new babies and caught up on all the latest news.

Aunty Gumps and her family all arrived near the end of the afternoon and had a quick meeting about the Marsh family reunion. After everyone left Uncle Glen and Frank took Josep, Pear and their cousins to the pools to finish the day off with a swim.

Lani and I went to do some window shopping at Chartwell and came home to relax.

Primary biking activity

Joseph and Pearl took part in the primary biking activity today. There was a registration table, a bike check, a helmet fitting station and a chalk road for the kids to practice good road safety skills. They had to stop, give way and let pedestrians cross the chalk crossing.

Joseph found it hard to pedal his little bike and asked for an upgrade to a bigger kids bike. Nothing a few push starts couldn’t fix. The pushes gave him the speed wobbles though and he fell over a few times.

Pearl grabbed a spare bike and scooted all over the course by herself.

I'm too cute for this bike

We finished up with some stickers, lolly pops, ice blocks, fruit and drinks. A great Church activity for the whole family.

Jasmine’s Blessing

Today we blessed Jasmine in our sacrament meeting. Mum, Dad, Nana, Aunty Teina, Aunty Annie, Emma and the Jacksons were all able to come along. We had a family lunch afterwards and spent some good time catching up together and taking the all important photos. A wonderful memory for our family.

Spring Gardening

Lani took the kids out for a bit of gardening yesterday afternoon. I bought them some mini gloves so they could really get stuck in. It was a bit windy but everyone had some fun and Daddy got to do some work inside.

Welcome Jasmine!

We welcomed Jasmine Leilani Rorani into our family at 3:18 a.m. on 22 Sep. She was born 9 lbs 13 oz. She’s our third child and we’re all very happy she’s finally here. Jasmine looks like Lani with Blair’s eyes. She sleeps in three hour blocks, wakes up to eat and goes back to sleep just like clockwork.
